Food therapy blends evidence based dietetics, neuro nutrition and therapeutic guidance, helping you rebuild trust in food, body and self. This is a space where nourishment is seen as a form of safety, where practical nutrition and supplement support sit alongside emotional and behavioural healing.

We know that when women are well fed, our brains think more clearly, our emotions settle more easily and our capacity for joy, connection and presence expands. Nutrients shape everything from mood stability to cognitive function, resilience to stress, hormone balance, immune strength and even long term metabolic and cellular health. Food Therapy helps you explore all of this in a way that is gentle, realistic and rooted in your lived experience.

At the Dinner Table

The way we eat often mirrors the way we live.

Rachel uses a three-stage model in Nourish Notes and Food Therapy to gently guide the healing process:

  1. Creating safety, stability and symptom relief, building a foundation of trust and nourishment.

  2. Deepening into exploration and compassionate self-understanding, uncovering the patterns and beliefs that shape your relationship with food and body.

  3. Integration and reconnection, supporting you to apply what you’ve learned and reconnect to yourself, your body, and the world around you.

This approach allows for meaningful, lasting change,  grounded in safety, self-awareness and care.

Why nourishment matters

Your brain is the hungriest organ you have. It relies on steady glucose, essential fats, amino acids, vitamins and minerals to regulate mood, sharpen focus, stabilise energy and support deep nervous system recovery. When nourishment is inconsistent, the body shifts into protective patterns that can feel like burnout, anxiety, irritability, low mood, brain fog or emotional overwhelm.

Adequate nourishment supports anti ageing processes by reducing inflammation and oxidative stress, protecting the brain against cognitive decline, and keeping hormones and mitochondria functioning smoothly. It strengthens immunity, supports fertility and menstrual health, and enhances everyday performance, whether that means being patient with your children, thinking clearly at work, lifting more in the gym or simply feeling more like yourself.

Practical nutrition and supplement guidance are woven throughout Nourish Notes so you always have tangible steps to support your physical and emotional wellbeing.

What’s Included in Nourish Notes / Food Therapy with Rachel

Initial Consultation

50 minutes • £160

Every therapeutic journey begins with understanding your story. During this first session, we'll take time to explore your relationship with food, your health history, symptoms, lifestyle, nervous system and goals. Rather than simply focusing on what you eat, we'll work together to understand why eating feels the way it does and what your brain and body need to feel safe, nourished and well. Together we'll create a personalised, evidence based plan that feels realistic, compassionate and tailored entirely to you.

Suitable for those experiencing eating disorders, disordered eating, women's health, fertility, neurodivergence, gastrointestinal conditions, sports nutrition and anyone wanting to develop a more peaceful relationship with food.

Sessions can take place by video, telephone, in person (walk and talk) or through written food therapy, which I call nourish notes,  so together we can choose the approach that feels most supportive for you.

Therapeutic Follow up

50 minutes • £95

Therapeutic follow up sessions provide ongoing personalised support as your relationship with food evolves. These sessions combine food therapy with evidence based nutrition, allowing us to gently explore barriers, process challenges, understand your nervous system, develop practical strategies and build sustainable change together.

Every session is tailored to where you are that day. Some appointments are deeply therapeutic, while others are more practical, together we'll respond to what you need.

Well Fed Check in

30 minutes • £65

A shorter appointment designed for existing clients who are already working towards their goals and would benefit from a focused review. These sessions are ideal for practical support, reviewing progress, refining nutrition plans, discussing supplements or blood results, meal planning and troubleshooting challenges. As these appointments are only 30 minutes long, they are not designed for in depth therapeutic work or exploring new concerns. If you feel you need more space, a 50 minute Therapeutic Follow up is likely to be more appropriate.
