Become a Compassion-Centred Weight Loss Practitioner
Compassion-Centred Weight Loss is our harm reduction approach designed to support individuals who wish to reduce their weight in a safe, sustainable, and non-obsessive way without compromising their emotional, mental, or social wellbeing.
This approach recognises the nuanced realities of body change and aims to support individuals with care, flexibility, and respect. It moves away from rigid dieting and restriction, and toward informed, values-aligned choices that honour the whole person.
We believe it’s essential for professionals working in nutrition, fitness, or wellbeing to understand and explore this approach, so they can support clients in a way that prioritises safety, dignity, and long-term health while reducing the risk of harm.

How the Training Works
The Compassion-Centred Weight Loss Practitioner Training is structured around our signature 12-step framework, supported by additional coaching modules. These modules help you explore how to communicate about food, body, and weight from a place of neutrality and compassion, and how to ethically support clients within your scope of practice.
As part of your training, you'll also gain access to our full resource library, including:
-
Meal plan examples
-
Guided meditations
-
Self-care workbooks
These can be used to support and inspire your own clients.
For those who wish to deepen their practice, we also offer optional 1:1 mentoring sessions with Rachel. These sessions can be tailored to support your professional development and guide you through your case study.
Certification & Case Study
This training is fully self-paced, allowing you to work through the content in your own time. However, as part of the certification process, we ask that you take a volunteer or new client through the 12-step journey and write a case study reflecting on both your client’s experience and your own.
You’ll then complete a short final exam and have the opportunity to discuss your case study with us. This is not a test — it’s a chance to integrate your learning and gain personalised feedback to strengthen your confidence and skills.
